THE TEN OF 2012 // MUSIC

Well goodbye 2012 and hallo 2013. last year was a year with unexpected turns and was music-wise the best year for me. I say that every year but a sides that, I will believe it really was.

I wanted to share my ten favourite songs of 2012. First I only wanted to share five songs but I discovered that picking out five songs throughout all of 2012 wasn't easy, so here my top ten.

EXCUSE ME //

Hello, here I am again... I almost don't even dare to post something since the long absence of mine. But here I go! 

There have been some changes in the last couple of months. I've been so busy with my internship that my social life has been in a black hole. My work was my life and I had almost no time for the things I most love to do. Now that it is over I still find it hard to resume to my old life. I hope things will change in these coming days.

I must actually say that I have grown in these last couple of months, as a person and professionally. But does that mean that I've grown the right way?  I've grown more to me. Does that make sence? I discovered more what I want and what not, what I've done right and what not, what I think of certain things and what despites me. I've learned that it's standard that you can not say some things. It's almost impossible to find someone who is totally honest, everybody is pretending. They must pretend to be something that they are not, to match the standards that is running. I don't want to do that, I want to be honest. Am I going to be punished for that? I hope not because this is going to be the course I will be leading. Honesty to the end!! So here, let me wipe that bullshit from your mouth! BYE!

THINK IT OVER, AGAIN....

What I have realised the last period is that I am a thinker. I am aware of that statement and yeah I know everybody thinks. The difference for me is that I over think. I think things over. Before I say something, the subject is surfing in my head, passing by my inner thoughts, drowning by words and questions. I am mentally preparing for the words to come out of  my mouth.
Before I can say something there has to be a personal moment with myself and I.
What do I want to say? If I say this, do I offend somebody? Do they still like me if I say this of is this ridiculous? These questions are floating in my head. The automatic filter that is setting in my head before my mouth opens...

HIGH ON BLEACH // DIY

Got nothing to do?
You need 5 things: Water, bleach, ductape, spraybottle and a black shirt.
Create a design with ductape on your t-shirt, you can cut some thinner straws, place ductape next to each other to make a bigger strand. The areas where you put the ducktape will stay black. Pour some water in the bottle and mix it with the bleach. The more bleach you use, the more concentrated it will come on your shirt.
Make sure you're in a airy area, for example outside, because you don't want to keep the smell of bleach in your room. And yes then... spray away! Don't spray everything in once but create layers for the best results.

* If you use a big black shirt you can also cut out a new design.
