EXCUSE ME //

Hello, here I am again... I almost don't even dare to post something since the long absence of mine. But here I go! 

There have been some changes in the last couple of months. I've been so busy with my internship that my social life has been in a black hole. My work was my life and I had almost no time for the things I most love to do. Now that it is over I still find it hard to resume to my old life. I hope things will change in these coming days.

I must actually say that I have grown in these last couple of months, as a person and professionally. But does that mean that I've grown the right way?  I've grown more to me. Does that make sence? I discovered more what I want and what not, what I've done right and what not, what I think of certain things and what despites me. I've learned that it's standard that you can not say some things. It's almost impossible to find someone who is totally honest, everybody is pretending. They must pretend to be something that they are not, to match the standards that is running. I don't want to do that, I want to be honest. Am I going to be punished for that? I hope not because this is going to be the course I will be leading. Honesty to the end!! So here, let me wipe that bullshit from your mouth! BYE!

What I have realised the last period is that I am a thinker. I am aware of that statement and yeah I know everybody thinks. The difference for me is that I over think. I think things over. Before I say something, the subject is surfing in my head, passing by my inner thoughts, drowning by words and questions. I am mentally preparing for the words to come out of  my mouth.
Before I can say something there has to be a personal moment with myself and I.
What do I want to say? If I say this, do I offend somebody? Do they still like me if I say this of is this ridiculous? These questions are floating in my head. The automatic filter that is setting in my head before my mouth opens...

HIGH ON BLEACH // DIY

Got nothing to do?
You need 5 things: Water, bleach, ductape, spraybottle and a black shirt.
Create a design with ductape on your t-shirt, you can cut some thinner straws, place ductape next to each other to make a bigger strand. The areas where you put the ducktape will stay black. Pour some water in the bottle and mix it with the bleach. The more bleach you use, the more concentrated it will come on your shirt.
Make sure you're in a airy area, for example outside, because you don't want to keep the smell of bleach in your room. And yes then... spray away! Don't spray everything in once but create layers for the best results.

* If you use a big black shirt you can also cut out a new design.

START DIY'ING

The economic crisis is still around, well in europe, uhh Greece.... Why schould we spend money on things we can make ourselves!

A PEARL EARHOOK/WRAP

What you will need:
- metal wire
- jump rings
- some pearls, but you can also do this with something else.
- pliers
- wire cutter

LIPCONDITIONER

What you will need:
- vaseline, cocao butter, something you like
- old lipstick
- a container to put your lip butter in.

Put 1/3 lipstick in the container and 2/3 vaseline in the container and heat it in the microwave til it melts. Mix everything well and put it for a couple hours in the freezer. If you don't own a microwave or your to lazy to go downstairs, there is an another option, your straightener. When you want to use these methode you have to put your things in a metal container, you can also work with a spoon or something. Be aware, this is gonna be messy. Use several colours, be creative!

WIRE RING

What you will need:
- metal wire
- some random beads, gems, whatever you like
- wire cutter

There are alot variations you can make. What I recommend is: try, begin and see where it ends. Here are some inspirations :)

RE-USE YOUR OLD THINGS
ohh you can make so many new things out of your old, put away, probably hidden 'junk'.
-For example all your dad old t-shirts/sweaters, it's a gold mine. You can make crop tops, dresses, sleeveless tops, cut out t-shirts (allot of different designs).
   (cut out skull tshirt)
-Jewerly. Search your grandmas, aunts, mothers jewerlycase and be suprised what you will find. You can also repaint your jewerly with nailpolish to shake it up a bit.
- Cut well fitted jeans/pants into shorts!
- Get started with studding, Stud everything.
- paint a cool design on your old allstars.
- start bleaching things, jeans, shorts, jeanjackets. You can also make a galaxy print with bleach on black fabric.
- Can you not choose which nailcolor to put on or just can not find the right color in your collection of over the hunderd colors, create a new one with the colours you already own.

FUTURAMA

The future, plans, planning, the path of your life, destiny. In how many ways can you describe this and what has it in store for you? This all is so blurry, when do you make the choice that will define your whole life, decide the path that you will lead and how can you reconize such a big thing?
Another 'Question Of Life' and there is like always no answer to this, maybe a better explanation, I can't find an answer. I came to this subject because in this period I had allot of decisions to make, school, personal life and my *caugh* financial situation...
What I've learned from this experiance is that you can't predict everything. You can not plan everything. You  can preticipate for something to happen or could keep in mind that the decision has to be made but again you cannot plan the future. Ofcourse there will be things that has to happen in your life and there is no denying to it. Hmm the best solution that I could think of; don't get stuck in the decisions that you've made earlier in your life, the good and the bad. The bad; the easiest excuse to blame all the bad luck in your life and the main reason you can not explore the rest of your life. The good; You may think this can't hold you back in going further. When something or a period in your life is going so well, you can get stuck in this 'flow'. It's a mean thing because you don't expect this from a good experience. The most scariest thing about this is that you don't look further because you're so happy.
This does not apply for all people but this is what i've experienced.

OBSESSION // THE VACCINES

The Vaccines, the band that i'm currently obsessed with. First Post Break-Up Sex then Wetsuit, Norgaard, Tigerblood, Family Friend, Wrecking Bar etcetera. I couldn't stop listening to them, that probably the reason why I'm obsessed with them :). There's an old sound lingering to them. That's the reason The Vaccines is influenced by the '50s rock 'n roll bands, '60s garage- and girlgroups, '70s punk, '80s American Hardcore and good popmusic, haha could guessed it. Well no small talk anymore, let's listen to them!
